Found this place via Google while trying to figure. Few mins from my hotel. Pulled up thought it was in the hood honestly. But went in anyway. The guy running the place and his boys was on point. Very friendly and polite. Food was ok but could be a little better. Pork chop is double cut and fried perfectly. The yams wasn't overly sweet. The greens...wish they was homemade or made to taste homemade. The fish seasoned and fried perfectly. The fries was good. Pink lemonade....get that. Overall I'll come here again.

Went for the first time, and food was amazing. Had a hard time choosing what to get because everything looked good. Took that first bite and knew the hype was real. Definitely a great spot to get food if you’re in Stamford. Customer service was good and the food was ready quickly.

My third time here! Whenever im in Stamford I try to make sure I stop by! Came on my lunch break and they have lunch specials which are lower priced and just as filling. Quality is always top notch, food made right, with love. Amazing food and service

The food is a 10/10, me & my gf decided to stop by coming all the way from Brooklyn. We found a delicious spot. The fried whiting was great along with the yams and fries. Everything was fresh & I recommend trying their fish!

This restaurant is amazing! I’m from NC and finding food from home that is actually made right has been impossible. I drove an hour to get here and will definitely be doing it again. Those collard greens are perfection. The gravy for the shrimp and grits is fantastic. Mac and cheese is on point. Bbq chicken wowed my kids. This is a favorite spot now!!

We’ve visited Soul Tasty several times over the years, and we’ve never been disappointed! Easily some of the best soul food in the state. On this last visit we fell in love with their salmon rasta pasta - they even stuff the salmon with crab and it was SO good. Grits just like you get in the south and super cheesy mac. I wish I lived closer to their delivery area because I would order from them all the time! Always a treat for delicious comfort food.

I’m a southern belle and I had a shrimp & grits. It was absolutely delicious. I would recommend coming after long day. I would definitely go back. 10/10 !!
